I kind of hope that the series doesn't become so distracted by trying to add more characters and complex lore to explain why certain things happen and forgets to actually advance the plot. That was the problem with re:creaters it spent so much time trying to explain why stuff was happening that the plot kind of fell by the sideline.

Are we going to meet Grace's grandfather? We've seen Grace's family tree in chapter 17 and all we've learned about her grandparents is that they live somewhere else, at least now we have a name.

I do like how the mob ladies had their character growth, being inspired by Grace and Anna to better themselves.

It seems that despite being a Japanese manga, we're using chinese philosophy for the magical elements, with wood and gold/metal being present. If the author used japanese traditions, we'd have the classical 4 elements of fire, water, air and earth as well as the fifth element of void/aether, which also was present in western philosophies and could connect the western and eastern countries of this title together.

It's like how not only we the readers are getting more lore in the story, but the characters are getting some as well. I think it's interesting how the existence of the name Galaxie Kingdom wasn't mentioned until it needed to be. Like whatever deity put Kenzaburo into this world is frantically placing the railroad tracks and writing backstories while everything is going on.

Honestly, it feels like this is another "this is how it is done, whippersnappers" moment from this mangaka. I'd give it 50/50 odds if this was planned, but he gave a perfectly good explanation for why the characters didn't think about this before now. Something that needs to be done if you are coming up with the world as you go.
