How did Brigitte contract a spirit if she's never met one before? This story lacks far too many details. I don't understand why it's so highly rated. The art is decent, but that's only worth a rating of 1-2.
So whats teh bet this retard will be forgiven and not expelled for attacking his class and will also not say anything about the princes actions and plotting? This series really is paint by numbers stupid with it's "We need a villain so lets do everything we can do to make the prince not get his come upance" also imagine you have Undine telling you she hasn't got a nameless spirit and your like "No don't tell her your clearly joking". what a dumb way to prolong the plot and progression.
The manga portrays him as more of a jerkass than the Web Novel (probably due to condensing things), but the reason he's acting that way:
Joseph ordered him to and then Aerial went out of control due to the guy's stress. Also, Joseph is his future employer, which, as a third son, is nothing to sniff at (it's basically "obey or get fired" — well he gets fired anyway). After the incident he is suspended for a bit, gets his spirit sealed for a week or two more (they use this slave-collar-looking-thing to do that, so everyone knows), is super grateful, and publicly apologizes for his actions. He couldn't do anything about Joseph — there's no proof, Joseph is careful that way — but he does defend her against him. He ultimately befriends Bridgette, Yuri, and Keira (he has a crush on her, but she only cares about Bridgette and eating).
Regarding what Undine said about her spirit, I got the impression that it was more "what do you mean by that?" than "you're just pulling my leg." (By itself, her spirit not being "nameless" doesn't mean anything more than just that.) So, he wants to avoid saying anything unconfirmed (and he's not exactly good at communicating to begin with). The WN did this better, I think.
