Sheesh, took you long enough, guys, and after all those complaining that you were JUST ABOUT to release a new chapter.

We were really about to just do it at that time. But after everything that happened, and little time to cool down, it was ultimately decided to completely scrap the already fully completed translation done by person who translated chapter 5 in favor of completely new translation from our original translator Demo (who you can notice has returned with this chapter) to push quallity up to eleven. As at this point there's no point in publishing anything less than our top work.

ngl I don't care about the translation quality if I already read the plot. This was 2 months late, I'm not waiting months for a single chapter update on this story if there's another option and it's not total trash. I know it's a lot of work and this is great quality but I already read this plot 2 months and 6 chapters ago.
You gotta have a balance between quality and speed if you don't want to get "sniped" by someone willing to do it faster. Of course there will be people who wait for yours but most people are going to read the first thing that pops into their feed without a care in the world. Or in my case, find this long after you got passed and not even know any of this happened.

Well, if speed is the only thing that matters to you, you're always free to consume any poison you want. Whether it's a second-hand translation from Spanish or pure MTL. But when today I compared the previous "translation" with the Demo's work I myself ended up very surprised how much it's different in several parts. So I personally consider every additional day that we spend working on it to be totally worth in the end.
Sincerely, considering what we're comparing here. I certainly wouldn't talk about "willingness to work faster", but rather pure impatience. The difference in efforts put on each of two releases is like night and day. And I'm just glad that Demo has decided to keep going with this series (for now at least) and not give up. Same goes for other group member that decided to stick with this. I understand that waiting is not pleasant to anybody, but I personally believe it's far better than all currently available alternatives. If you think otherwise, do as you see fit.
For now I just say, that Volume 2, that contains chapters 7 to 12 is already in our hands. And if there will be no further distractions, I believe that you won't have to wait for them so long as for chapter 6.

I have a few things to say to this response.
First, calling other works "poison" because they don't fit your personal tastes or standards is crude. It's lower effort and lower quality but it got the plot across well enough and was far from offensively bad. Vitriolic statements about them don't help build your case.
Second, my point wasn't to say you weren't willing to work faster but rather that you should not be surprised when someone who can do it faster does it. Most people do not care about quality to the degree you do. If it's readable, people will read it. They'll prefer better but realistically they're going to read whatever is first.
Third, I'm also glad you've chosen to continue working on this and I hope that when your group has caught up to the latest we'll have these much higher quality scans to read first. Your scans are undeniably much better, the only "issue" I have with them is that I already read the plot. If at some point I go and reread this series I will certainly appreciate the work but as it is now, I reread this chapter and nothing substantial to the story is changed. Which was my point originally, the quality of the scan is better but the plot is unchanged so, for me, it's pointless to reread it at this moment.
Lastly, a sort of related point, there are manga where I would rather wait for a good scan than read a quick one. Things like Yofukashi no Uta or Radiant where I'm heavily invested into the plot and the quality should equal the story. This manga is far from that list. That's a more personal opinion, of course, but I think a lot of people who have read this would agree, this isn't really a story you read for peak quality.
Anyway much luck on your scanlation journey, I look forward to your future work

These things from their basic nature are not properly capable to accuratelly express author's original intent behind written content (second hand translation gives you only what Spanish translator understood from original text and Machines have still problem with artistic side of things). So when you read them, you don't actually read manga itself, but it's more comparable to read listed spoilers in internet. On top of that, as we could already compare on this chapter, on several places given text is very off. So you can even misunderstand some content. So calling this "the poison that will ruin your experience" may be little blunt, but it's totally accurate.....
If I wanted to be really crude, I could use far worse words for this.

And even more, if people like you start defending it. This is one of main reasons why many real translators are leaving for the paid business. I don't know what's sadder. Us being slow? Or people who rather fundamentally lower the bar than wait? Especially when far better options also exist.
In any case, there is no point in arguing about this any further.
Volume 2 (chapters 7-12) are now in hands of our translator Demo. And hopefully things get little faster now. 😖
