Huh - Yarino is basically a female version of Kiritsu (kind of, a bit, if you squint), and Chihara likes her . . . which means the fujoshi girls were /kind/ of on the money . . . .
I love this manga - for something that's framed in such a ridiculous way the characters are amazingly realistic and well written, and watching Tsubaki grow has been lots of fun. Also I /really/ like the school nurse, and Chihara here was just laying the realism smack down hard.
Good luck to the author - a new baby is damned hard work. If all the manga you see about a mangaka's lifestyle are correct I'm sure she's well prepared for a long period of disturbed sleep, insane overwork and utter exhaustion . . .
