Before you get weak and drop the series know that without some character development and tragedy, a Fantasy/Action manga will just become plain and boring with each chapter. Isekai and similar types are now too mainstream and same. How the author decides to bring in the bloody twists is what sepperates on from another.

but this recent chapter... im kind of disappointed i mean the assassin pretty much revealed his affiliation when he humiliated and killed the mage and priest any contrary claims after that seem to be quite meaningless except for some superficial deny ability.
its like a kid with cake crumbs on his face next to the remains of the said cake saying no i have never eaten even a crumb of it.
the kid may not have admitted it but anyone with 3 braincells over the vegetable equivalent knows what happened

Haaaaaah, I read this up to a certain point but I just can't anymore. I like the idea y'know, the whole jester thing. The MC wasn't that bad. I liked the whole over the topness and I was fine with his character, he was fun... until the fan service just got too much in the way. I've read manga with girls that have big tits but this one... first there was one and then another and just the whole screen covered in breasts. I was like it's fine, it will be over soon but it wasn't. It never stopped. It never stops.

Overall would've preferred this if it had little to no romance or a full male cast. Like a get fan service but can we keep it at a reasonable amount. It felt like every other page was just fan service.

I'm not 100% since you know I can't read the authors thought process but I think that was the whole point.
Hmm....using your analogy to be clear....it's like a kid with cake crumbs on his face, sitting right next to the eaten cake and said he didn't eat it. However that kid finished the cake awhile ago thus having plenty of time to leave and purposely left the crumbs on their face cause in their mind the person who would find them couldn't do a thing about it.

I'm not annoyed by the fanservice tho, it's well done and it's not just a bunch of accidents that make no sense, it actually have a purpose. The down side is that you must like it, you can't avoid it.

The characters and story is pretty good, so I think that it really worth to check it out if you don't mind what I mentioned before.

Also, an advice, never take the ratings seriously when they have a lot of 1's. Generally they have certain aspect that triggers a part of the community so they just bash it.
