@Hacete You can just memorise one or two and go for those while leaving others for your companions or you can just memorise common traits for non-poisonous ones and check for specific species at home.

@kwendy Yeah, I can do that. The situation I was imagining a little extreme, like how Chiaki brought up so many mushrooms thinking they were the one she was looking for.
Or I could just learn all the poisonous ones and get lost in a forest, only knowing what to avoid eating to prevent dying but suffer something else(you can't always trust nature) 😅

Yes and no. Depends a bit on what's actually reported.
My school's dorms had a serious problem with alcohol, but as long as you at least made a modicum of effort to not just leave it out in the open or get caught barfing all over the common room you weren't gonna even get saturday-morning detention.
Likewise with sex - teachers would walk and talk extra loud while patrolling the woods around campus - if you got caught despite not even taking the effort to not be in direct view of the footpath you deserved it.
Also weren't breaching decorum if you at least *pretended* you merely lost weight after "getting mono", and introduced your baby as a sibling instead. Granted that didn't stop one while I was there from getting evicted for it anyways because she couldn't even be bothered.

Meanwhile the idiots who tried selling drugs in the old-ass school buildings where you can hear a whisper like fifty meters down the cavernous halls were basically arrested the same day.
