That's pretty much how it is. You can freely ignore those numbers. They have very little relevance to the plot. What you should be paying more attention to is the skills Fate absorbs.

@Riger : yes and no. Stats do matter, and the Japanese tend to like bigger #'s, it is to show that he is facing stronger opponents and growing

But if I recall there is a threshold which when passed stats do not matter as much but skill in using abilities, and you can not even be injured by people who have not passed it (Myne is in that range and has been for quite a while)

Those stats seem to be completely useless since the author has failed to show how they actually influence the world. At least have some random drunkard with "regular" (probably a million each) stats hit the MC in the head with a mug of ale so we can see how important they actually are.

and there's realm above those 'millions status/level', on that realm, only being with same realm can injure them, even if you throw boulders at them, they will feel nothing, but if someone still under that realm, they can still get injured by normal means (tho probably just bruised for higher stat people). Auron already giving the hint in this chapter, he said he already break the limit, it means he got a chance step on that realm, since Auron actually 'level max'....
