That said, you don't have to apologize for picking it. The only entities that have some kind of ownership on any manga are the author and the publisher, not translator groups. Sure, given the enormous ammount of untranslated works, it is better to not have more than one group per series, but acting all butthurt because someone is doing a fan translation of something you're translating as well ( and even worse, threatning to keep the work hostage because of that ) is downright idiotic and only shows the mental age of the people that act like that.
