-> (theory) Almost certain the master's wife is a dragon (got spoiled about it but didn't see it myself)

-> (fact) From the novel I remember having read that dragons have human form because it the form of the old gods of this world and human are like bad copy at best and also maybe their descendant but I don't remember much of that part.

If I remember correctly, Roseweisse is still waiting for Leon in the forest. She ends up saving him from the empire's guards because his mana gets completely depleted from his fights.

Master actually stays behind in the empire to gather information with Rebecca. Because of this, neither Master nor Rebecca meets the daughters for a very long time.

When Rebecca finally does meet Roseweisse (I don't remember the exact timing, it might be after Leon's second visit), their dynamic is hilarious. At first, Rose is jealous because Rebecca is a girl and Leon's childhood friend. However, Rebecca is just completely captivated by Rose's beauty and almost falls in love with her! They quickly get past it and become really good friends.

Eventually, way down the line in the future, Rebecca does meet the daughters as well, and she ends up playing a very important role in the overall story!

The Ambush and the Time Jump
After Leon returns from the Silver Dragon Sanctuary, the Empire sends three Dragon King-level opponents (equal to or stronger than Constantine) to kill him. Leon manages to kill the strongest one, but the remaining two trap him and Rose in a dimensional teleportation circle. Noah clutches up and saves both just in time. Leon kills the remaining two dragons, but he ends up getting teleported 10+ years into the future.

The Ruined Future
Leon arrives in a future where the Sanctuary is completely in ruins, and the clan members are either dead or scattered. He manages to find his third daughter, Aurora, and they eventually reunite with his other two daughters, who are now all grown up. He also finds Rose, but she is in a coma. After Leon disappeared, Rose fell into a deep depression and completely drained her mana fighting off invaders to protect what was left.

Rebecca's Crucial Role
During this 10-year gap, the daughters met Rebecca (acting as their master/aunt) and another woman. Rebecca spent years hiding the girls from the Empire and training them. Without her stepping up during Leon's absence, the daughters wouldn't have survived.

Saving the Timeline
Aurora turns out to be incredibly talented and actually builds a time machine. She uses it to send Leon back to the past—specifically, 6 months after he originally disappeared. He lands at the Sanctuary at the exact perfect moment to stop Rose from using all her mana, saving her life and completely fixing the timeline.

The Aftermath
Because Leon fixed the past, the daughters in the "actual" timeline never have to meet Rebecca under those dark circumstances. However, Leon tells Rose everything Rebecca did to protect their children in the alternate future. Hearing how Rebecca stepped up to save her kids is exactly what finally makes Rose like and respect her!

Question to Novel readers who are far ahead, is there ever any great mystery to Leon's actual parents, or is he just an orphan because that's cool. I feel like it is too odd he gets adopted by like the sword master of the empire and his wife, see spoiler above, and he is so broke in terms of power even compared to dragons, to not be more to his parentage.

Regarding on Leon's actual parents

Leon's birth is somewhat a surprise. His true identify is that of a.....crystal, a Thunder Spirit Core to be exact. Leon's "mother", Hera is from a tribe (I can't remember the name) and their tribe is in a possession of the Thunder Spirit Core and Atos, the bad guy from Void Realm is trying to seize it. Hera is the guardian of that core and she took the core and fled. Atos sent out assassins and they pursued her relentlessly and so in order to make sure the core doesn't fall into their hand, she used up all of her power and transmute the core into a human baby. And that human baby is Leon.

So basically, Leon's unusual lightning power comes from the Thunder Spirit Core and his mother's power.
