Not all that surprising imo, between all the modern-esque aspects of the Dragon realm, blended with fantasy, and the fact that magical gunslingers exist in quite a few fantasy settings, it makes sense there'd be some semblance of guns (even if they're likely not as good as pure raw might and magic when it comes to fighting dragons 🤔)
