I'm genuinely surprised, they didn't have a single tsundere moment and actually talked like 2 adults in a relationship. No pettiness, no snide remarks, just honest understanding on both parts. I am totally digging this.
The more I read of the novel, the more I come to appreciate it, honestly. Like yeah, it's schlocky and has a bunch of random dumb contrived shit happen for slice of life reasons (the murder mystery game???), but the relationships between the characters are actually pretty well written.

Makes me wonder if the author's a woman. From the 40ish series I've read since starting to read manga/manhwa/manhua again, the best-written romances were almost always female authors.

Well, either way, glad they're not falling into all the same crap as other authors. I'm regularly disappointed by the amount of restraint it apparently takes to not write haremslop...

Considering that Master's wife is blatantly a dragon too, I'm inclined to wonder if there was a long tradition of human x dragon relations that got obliterated somehow. That Leon and Rossweisse aren't breaking new ground, but rather are recovering something that was lost due to the actions of psychopaths.

Bro, emotionally distant, unstoppable gigachads that are secretly amazing lovers and caregivers when they're serious are a staple of shojo/josei manga. Leon is just a tsundere one, instead of the more common kuudere-type, like you're thinking of. Come to think of it, he's a bit like a more outgoing dragon slayer version of Hirotaka from Wotakoi, which has a woman author.

I don't mean anything by it, it's just a general observation from my reading habits.

Read from the start if you want to really enjoy it.
So much this. The manhua leaves out a lot of fluff, but then references it for some reason. Their hesitation with cream puffs, for example, has a scene that the manhua left out. It left out Noah's essay and the insane grade she got for it, Leon being smarmy to the little fire dragon's dad, a decent chunk of the sports festival, Aurora's trademark uppercut which actually has plot relevance, there's a lot.

Manhua's good, but there's too many funny/good scenes left out.

anyone with spoilers who has read the novel?
Some spoilers from the novel.
Aurora is their third baby's name. Victor is the traitor but he was executed by Leon. Leon will face off several corrupted Dragon Kings that was in cahoots with the human empire, they all got their asses whooped by Leon. The king is actually a puppet (dude has no power, the "queen" was the one calling the shots), there is another powerful being that is pulling the strings.
