At what chapter in the WN this manga has reached right now? I'm curious about the story and want to continue reading on from the WN
Edit : NVM It's chapter 23
I still consider evil loli priestess more despicable for handing out fake blessings to the poor rather than raising an army of undead. Army of undead to attack villagers is to be expected, but to hand out fake blessings in a world where they could just as easily have handed out real ones? That's genuinely awful and lazy.
Hmmm... I wish it was not as exaggerated when comparing contrasting points of views of different noble houses. Though my wish might be counterproductive, but if author makes different points of view he could as well develop there. I see the point of fat bastard to preserve state order (also if he is noble for the sake of being noble and overthrown that easily that means he serves no purpose in his own system), and I also see the other house being too lax to the point of outsourcing public order to vagabonds and freeters wich can be both cause for downfall and sign of great management abilities... @deltarayedge With great power comes great as* whooping. His role is to guide his daugther, the house head was to reprimand the butler.
So, we have a noble pig that chooses to attack when the enemy is at its strongest and a hypocrite loli that vomits about equality then chooses to work with primal example of the people that she says she despises, I am... underwhelmed.
@deltarayedge It wasn't that dumb, if you go back and reread the chapter just before the fight both the butler and the Dad told Angie no, that was enough. But she forced the butler to fight her and beat him up so badly he can't get out of bed right now, and he's the personal butler of the noble they're visiting. That's a massive lack of restraint.
huh, been so long must have forgotten the context and just assumed it was generic idiot butler that deserved it.
that said the dad is still dumb with his "accidents" and overly insulting fake humility. On the other hand. even if the accidents were real (& his reputation fake), it doesnt really make him any more of an interesting character.
@deltarayedge I think Belgrieve's "accidents" are real, but he's just that strong, that he manages to use them for his advantage instead of falling to them.
I like how they portrayed the noble. Is he a trope? Yes. Is it lazy writing? Not really.
He's not lol im dumb because reasons but actually blinded by pride and power in a believable manner.
Can't say for the loli though. She be cray yo.
I hope #1 Dad gets some action and renown since, in the previous chapters, he dreamt about what life would be like if he hadn't lost his leg to that shadow demon. Although he's humble, there must be some room for self-actualization.
