It depends what you do. Too much baking soda in muffins can turn them into poison. Really its about how much of it you use. Common sense should stop that but some people have none.

Food poisoning is pretty easy if she's using obscure 'potion' ingredients.
Or she could just not be preparing it well, like how if puffer fish can be eaten, but only if it's prepared by a professional.

I gather she is not trying those potions on her self before poisoning others. She becomes dumb and dumber.

The novel is unavailable in english?

Web novel is as the name indicates, put on the Internet ... think of being fanfiction.
Light novel is a a published novel, unlike web novel there is a editor to go over it and so its more professional done, it also tends to lack things like "two years of semen glup into" as web novels being self published often have such amazing lines.

In a sense, you can see the web novel as a kinda of draft were the editor have not gone ever it as the light novel as a result of editing then, its the same thing really.

@Yamibi
As the name implies, web novel is written on a blog/website, often as a hobby than proffesionally, so the writing style is more lax. When a web novel is gerting popular some publishers offer the author to write a more "proffesional" version of the story and thatbis a light novel, the writing style and plot gets often changed but not much. So the difference is the same as a story on a blog and an official novel (book) published of the same story

@Yamibi as other has said, Web Novel is self published while Light Novel is mostly printed and more profesional. From story point of view it will not differ much as most change is around the writing, but there is many instance where character, scene, or entire sub-plot being changed. for this Title I only read (the WN) until chapter 13 and kind of dropped it because the story is not my liking the Manga is better IMO.

Another difference is that WN's tend to be updated frequently but in small chunks (like a few sentences every day, or a few paragraphs every week), so the story telling style is usually pretty choppy compared to a LN.

Either way though, I almost always prefer manga to either WN/LNs. I've tried to read a few where the manga version is way behind the LN, but I just couldn't get into it. The translation in manga is mostly just dialog (were small grammar/style mistakes are understandable and easily forgiveable), and the drawings take care of all the background and context. Whereas in WN/LN, the whole thing needs to be translated, which is a LOT more difficult. Even a good hobbyist translator may not have the skills to translate entire stories of text in a way that's pleasant to read.

I assume the LNs are probably better than the manga in Japanese, but since I can't read it... I'll stick to manga.

So at what chapter does Charlotte stop being retarded? The manga would be significantly better if pig boy dumps her somewhere. Oh wait that's the "charm" of the manga, oh well. Hope she slip down a well and drown or something.

Thanks for the new chapter.

So, if there is a unreviewed web novel and a "professional" manga adaptation, the editor in charge told the author or mangaka to dumb down Charlotte to make her more appealing? Good job!

@Qelix the editor is probably the reason this is practically a harem manga, and Charlotte being an idiot is probably just to be some stereotypical 'aho girl' in his harem... Her character is probably shit because she's been watered down to fill a specific role in Slow's orbit of women.
