Man, I just did about 6 hours of 3D modeling. The result looked shit.
Then I used a reference and redid my model.
It only took me 30 minutes and the result actually looked good.


Use references, kids, it'll save you time.

I think 3D modelling is cool, I only have experience with the engineering type, AKA, following a drawing and making very specific shapes with specific sizes. I'd love to be able to make a character but I don't have the vision, that, and texturing seems like black magic. How tf do people do it???
