But then it seems like the author ran out of steam and went back to the original porn plot and to taking it completely straight.

The author missed a great opportunity to make the isekai "disease" sexually transmittable.
Reverse-MC has sex with some isekai-man on her side, swaps with MC, has sex with the dude, who swaps with reverse-dude, who then has sex with two friends, who are going to swap next.

But considering how much effort he put into the rest of the world(as in very little), it's not surprising. Unless... Reverse-MC has a magical dildo stashed away somewhere.
