i doubt that, Licht have personal vendeta against that kingdom, probably he just hate them so much that he looked at their corpse coldy since he knows how the people from that kingdom are like (backstabbing people)

p.s : not sure why i still remember this myself, but when he revived the maou group in first chapter, he said it didn't matter if the body is decomposed or not, probably even just skeleton left, burned body/corpse is nothing compared to that

Exactly. It has been established that he can literally revive anyone and anything at any time as long as they are within the skill's effective distance. Distance it literally the only limitation of this skill.

I think they tried to avoid using pronouns because it's not yet clear if 'Master' is male or female.
It's not elegant, but neither is having to switch them later on when it turns out you were wrong.
Maybe some restructuring sentences and using passive speech could have helped, but i don't think there's a perfect way to do it.

You know i find this series kind of funny in that the demons as brutal as they can be, really don't have a problem with humans in general, just the human kingdom which they were at war with, hence why so many humans pick joining the demon king's army after being betrayed so they can fight the human kingdom army (well, this one, technically the other one is a human kingdom too, but is allied with the demon lord in secret) because at least they don't have to worry about being backstabbed by the demon lord.

Spoiler: Next arc

West Demon Lord shows up and kidnaps MC after killing Dorothy. He was able to res her before vanishing, but this leads to a long-ass slump and regrets from the girls before Maou herself lead the army to war with West Demon Lord to get back her spawn point. Some fight here and there, then the girls claimed victory, you know the deal.

Are we sure it's the ONLY limitation? That turbulence the witch found within him could be a building backlash from his skill's usage, or some other limitation; he may not truly be immortal after all.

This. Hell, the person you replied to even used "they" in such a case, here, for the TLers. The only real problem is the politicalization of the term (from people on both sides of center) causing people to resist the usage it had as a uncertain gender pronoun in the singular prior to about fifty to a hundred years ago when it was just... written out of the lexicon entirely by dictionary orthographists.
