i read both texts, this one was longer, i don't know the other series you were mentioning but i got most of it i believe, in short i'll just say that it's important to put yourself in the place of other people before doing something, similarily think about the consequences of your decisions, the pros and cons, not just the pros

I bet she isn't actually the Saint. re-read the way the artifact phrases stuff like "power you seek" sounds more like a genie lamp than a benevolent goddess, I'm guessing it's more like a magical item version of captain America serum "amplifies what's already there" turning the original good natured heroine into a saintess and this Amy into ... Honestly I think this was all LAMBSHADING because he hasn't been CHARMD by "Witch" so this means he was like this even BEFORE ! I mean we got more context where the OG STORY made it look like Ana went to the empire out of desperation when Prince Charmless abandoned and humilated her! Whn reminder he paid men to GANGRAPE HER in the OG story as he did in this story! With the now ADDED Context that they were apart of the Empire, so Ana was raped and DRAGGED to the Empire against her will in the OG Story! It's just because the OG story was about that Witch's OG self being the HEROINE! Of course Ana can't be painted in any light....and the rape is suppose to be the CLASSICAL "she deserved it" making you wonder what rock the OG writer lived under to believe "a woman deserves gang rape!" I mean there's some IRONY that the Witch's "final fate" at the end is being made a comfort woman! But out of fairness she did largely bring it on herself, where Ana even in the OG story WASN'T as much a Villain, as she was a woman who's fiancee and engagement which was VERY important for stability in the Kingdom were in jeopardy because the Prince decided to be a SELFISH PRICK! For all the "Woe, he was brainwashed" nonsense! It's clear in the OG story the Prince AND the King were NOT good people! The OG "FMC" crime really was going for a man who was engaged, but the Prince on his OWN along with the other Harem members ganged up on Ana and left her no means to properly defend herself even "subbing in" for the FMC in a Duel between TWO GIRLS like that was MANLY when that was just a bunch of horn dog cowards abusing their power! The Witch may have used CHARM in some places! But that didn't remove their choices entirely and the King ALLOWING THIS!
