Heck even the author says its "part of the afterstory"

So what does this mean?
1.) It being not part of the Main Story means the likelihood of it being in the manga is very low.

2.) It's arguably not Canon. The Light Novel didn't cover

So "that" is actually in the grey zone of canonity but if the Light Novel decided to cover the afterstory then they would certainly change it.
