I don't understand why he's expecting such dire retribution, such as execution.
He was literally the representative of a Duke's daughter. Duke. That's almost the highest ranking in the noble-hierarchy. If royalty would go for his head, it'd be a direct disrespect to the Dukedom of the kingdom. That's fucking stupid. Am I missing anything here? It's not like the MC tossed a rock at them out of nowhere, it was an official duel, for the honor of an extremely high ranking noble for fuck's sake.
Because the prince is a bitch

Seeing as thing played out as expected, it isn’t all that big of a surprise to see Allen truly believe the worst would befall him. Considering the prince’s demeanor, and the fact that in the game said prince ordered the hit on Anastasia, it would be an impossibility in his mind that no retaliation would be coming.

He handedly wiped the floor with all 5 of them, it was almost barely even considered a fight, little more than him creating a smoke screen, and then clicking on preverbal heads. The only one who gave him trouble was the prince, and that’s being generous, it was no more difficult for him than creating a goddamn chair out of the floor with alchemy.

Anastasia seemed to have been quite taken by his actions, it was obvious her total loss of care when it came to the prince, it was less her feelings towards him that instigated all of this, and more Amy’s antagonism and Anastasia’s mistreatment. It was all justified on Anastasia’s part, don’t get me wrong, but she never wanted this fight, she was practically forced into it, a fight which would have literally cost her everything had it not been for Allen.

Anastasia isn’t stupid, she is in fact pretty damn smart, she’s been preparing to be the next queen all her life after all, I would expect that much. So given her intelligence, it makes sense why Allen’s actions would hold a great deal of significance for her. Hopefully Amy gets her comeuppance, and that uppity prince deals with the consequences of his actions.

As a wise man once said, “I don’t know what the name of this operation was initially. But whatever it was, it’s definitely being called Operation: Fuck Up by now.” And who is the biggest fuck up here other than the troupe of idiots parading around as royalty, they really should know better. I wonder how their families will react to learning about all of this, and especially the King and Queen, their son not only annulled his engagement (that’s something major right there) he did it for a commoner who was gussying up to 4 other men at the same time, he challenged said woman he was engaged to for years all because of allegations without any evidence, fought against another commoner who was acting on behalf of said party, lost to said commoner even when trying a sneak attack with intent to kill, and in the end he would up I the hospital because he essentially “tried too hard” he hurt himself more than he was hurt by Allen.

Talk about the mother of all fuck ups, to quote Allen, “and this is the future of our country?” Man I would be worried for myself if I did even one of those things, he did all of them, and there are still things I didn’t list because I feel they are not only implied, but unnecessary when compared to all of this. It will be a miracle if his only punishment is not being able to see Amy ever again. And I haven’t even gotten into the other 4 chucklefucks who talked shit, and promptly got their shit kicked in. At least Marx was sensible enough to know when to give up, the other 3 are beyond incompetent, and into levels of incapable stupidity that I have to wonder how it is they don’t suffocate on their own saliva daily, much less know how to fight.

I’m sure they’re nice enough behind all that bravado, because let’s not forget here, those 5 are all victims here too, Amy ruined their lives and is using them for her own selfish gain. She’s abusing their feelings for profit, and the only two people who can see it are labeled as the bad ones. Hopefully they get some redemption in the future, they don’t deserve the same fate that befell Anastasia in the original timeline, not when they’re being manipulated. I can’t wait to see what comes next, for everyone involved, we’re entering uncharted territory here for all of them, nothing is certain anymore.
Yes but that assumes the prince and friends don't spin the story to make themselves look better.

amy forgetting she concluded that it was the hardest difficulty and yet still gets weirded out because of unknown variables lmao

his trust to ramslette family on earlier chapters was through the roof and now he's not even trusting anastasia to protect him as he protected her honor via winning the duel.

best mom 10/10 , wish i have a mom that supportive.
It's not that he doesn't have trust for the Ramslettes. All Allen knows is he's accomplished his mission. He has no idea of Anastasia, a noble whom he cannot directly talk to, thoughts towards him.

For all he knows Anastasia who has the whats best for the country on her mind, she may let him be executed. After all he is only a commoner who was a classmate.

Agree best mom.

There were dozens of witnesses though. Their story won’t hold up if they tried. For sure there’s intelligence people at that school who would report to the king too. Crown princes from all over are there, so it should be full of spies pretending to be students.

The dukedom.
The dukedom will care.

EDIT: Ya'll are completely missing the point, that I was entirely hinging on the fact that the MC fought for a Duke's daughter, officially.
Going against the MC now, is to directly spit in the Duke's face, which can give immense political leeway in favor of the Duke.
It is not about "They are honor-bound to play nice", it's about not pissing off the highest form of authority in the entire kingdom other than the king.

P.S: Also, do not forget that this setting makes no sense if you're trying to apply actual history to it. That is to say -- in which world would peasants be receiving official education outside of a church, and on top of that -- together with nobility, not to mention, the royalty of the kingdom?
It reminds me a dumb ass story in which slaves were also allowed to study together with royalty. If the story goes so much off the rails, you cannot hark about how "that's not how that works in real life".
Yeah no shit it doesn't.

Even if the dukedom cares, that will only matter if the royal family/prince acts logically. Which considering that the game story follows where the prince breaks his engagement with Anastasia (which is a political marriage to help secure future of the kingdom) and is allowed to do so, which indirectly contributes to the civil war that MC wants to avoid, is not a safe assumption. Also this wasn't just a prince and male love interest are dumb problem, since they also roped adult nobles aligned with them to rig the duel, see a few chapters back with the witness.

That is why MC is worried about retribution from the royal family or aligned with the royal or any of the other game male love interests.

Being murdered is not same as execution. For execution you need to make them bother to invent false charges first. Way too much of a hassle for "punting down the uppity commoner who beat the prince in a duel", just send some goons to do it at his home, instead.
And not make a public show of punishing the "criminal"?

Interesting you assume they'd tell the truth.

There could be a royal advisor who could talk the prince into forgetting a public execution and instead go for a simple assassination. The royals could handle the protests from the duke's family much easier if it's done under the table, but if they publicly shame a person who win the duel for the duke's daughter, the royal family would probably need to donate a whole silver mine to the dukedom as compensation. Assuming they care at all, which one would assume they do since Anastasia was supposed to the marry the prince. But then again, if the king suddenly reversed his opinion and intends to bring down the whole dukedom, they could come up with a scheme of accusing both the MC and Anastasia of foul play.

and on a side note, this series has the laziest county naming I’ve ever seen and I absolutely love it!

estonia is to the east and every other country is basically named the same way, like Northton to the north.
Estonia has such a beautiful flag, despite being a simple tricolor

I also remember mentioning that a while back. More MCs should fuck their hot Isekai moms. Honestly, thought it was gonna happen with how she kept comparing him to his dad.
Anyway, she's a good mom. Willing to tell her son to run away and die for him.
Better than other isekai parents at least.

Thanks for the TL
More? So you have seen some? No sauce no trust bro, the only one i know is that new "reincarnated as a pole master"

I think a lot of people have a misunderstanding about nobility in those types manga where we deal with an heavily romanticized vision of nobility, laws don't apply to them and honor is the last of their worries as long as they stay in power, nobody will give a fuck if the Prince and his gang send a band of soldiers to slaughter MC family and friends in broad daylight and at the end of the day the word of the king is law and any opposition is criminal, FL family might be insulted but what are they going to do ? start a civil war over a peasant ? nobody is gonna help them for that, heck some of their allies might even seize to opportunity to sell them out for some favor with the future king (the prince) like any good politician.

Nobility in Europe (like most of those mangas are based on and it's the only one i have knowledge about) was nothing like portrayed in media, they had no "honor" or "values", the closest thing they had was religion and all they add to do is send money to the clergy and they'd get a "God says it's ok to commit this horrific crime against humanity" freepass, let's not even talk about knights (and other warrior aristocracy) whose only difference they had with bandits is that one had a state license to act like thug.

Nothing against you but a friendly reminder that Nobility is usually above the law and at the end of the day they could do whatever they want to MC and all people would say is "shouldn't have opposed a noble" and continue their day working to pay for food.
I have to correct you on something, nobility in europe having carte blanche ability to do whatever the heck they wanted, was in fact NOT common, and harming commoners was a good way to have your territory confiscated and possibly said noble beheaded in some nations, most depictions of noble cruelty come from russia and the serf system (basically slaves in all but name), most countries in europe had certain rules that nobles HAD to follow due to nobless oblige as we call it now, if they broke it, the penalties could be very severe, this of course like i said varied between kingdoms/empires, but in general nobles had to behave in europe for the most part, unlike in asia where the population that weren't nobility were closer to the russian serf.

Now there is some argument that the church played a part in this but that's beside the point.

Your right about knights though, a knight was just a fancy word for a nation loyal mercenary order more or less, while there were noble knight orders (as in honorable, not nobles though this wasn't mutually exclusive), the general "knight" was no different than how mercenaries are depicted in media, both in modern and classical times.

All I know if the end of the fight and Allen leaving was how the story ended. It would have been a boss ending. Allen came, planned, and conquered.

it was said in chapter 1 (I think) that the civil war started by the villainess being expelled and Assaulted led to a civil war which weakened the country and led to them being invade

Look at a map of Britain and you'll see Essex, Wessex, Sussex, Middlesex. There's no Nossex, but there is Northumbria. The naming in that sense isn't bad.
