@ak0ztik : Sometimes I have to "improvise" in translation when translate is "meh" but I do intend on going back and fixing everything when a translator comes into play. Right now, ish just me and translate. :')
Also, if there seems to be "missing" pages it's probably because the original raws had it as Chapter 4 and 4.2; I decided to merge them so around page 14 is where 4.2 starts.

I think the mid-boss wants them to leave to a remote area prepared by him using the bell..
The only escape however is the entrance to Shijima Cave which meant they have to face the heroes. The mid-boss "left" first so they pieced it together and realize the mid-boss is gonna face the heroes to give them a chance to escape later on; either by defeating the heroes or injuring them that they can't risk going into the dungeon.

The fact that he gave them an artifact that can link together no matter how far apart let them infer that their boss isn't really gonna abandon them otherwise why would he leave something that serve to notify each other presence if he just gonna abandon them to their death.
and it already stated in the chapter that if you really want to exit the dungeon, there is only one entrance and you would have to collide with the incoming hero party either way.
