It’s a bit common. She still struggles with low self-esteem. It’s not that she thinks he would cheat on her because he wants to or get seduced by, but rather that she feels less worthy than the senpai. And her arc with her friend, to me, feels close enough to a possible relapse. I get it, though this plot is kind of boring.
