Someone linked the novel earlier, and according to ch2 and ch3 (didn't read more of that, I didn't want to spoil the manga for myself), Nekoyama is (was?) the blonde guy's girlfriend. Altough they didn't do anything together.
But yeah the correct term would be netori. Probably.
