That would be the perfect reversal wrt the friendship dynamics, and just so cute.

Peak hopium would be Yuzuru / Soumei showing up at the hospital, leading to revelations with Shizuku+Jun / Sayu, but I fear that'll be left to volume extras if ever touched on.

mangaka didn't finish in time, and its published in a lenient web-only magazine that has this manga as its centerpiece.

honestly i'm all for it because even if its been 6 years since i started reading it, at least its not getting cancelled. the fact that it's gotten 15 volumes and lasted longer than JJK is stunning on its own.

pro-tip: they publish sneak peeks of the chapters at like 5pm JST the friday before each chapter. if its not there on time, there's like a 50/50 chance of it being released.

The next update is delayed specifically in preparation for the volume 15 release in Feburary, assuming it'll have the usual volume extras. It was announced on the official NekuYan twitter here, so theres an off chance there might not be an update until afterwards ^^' if we're lucky we might just get a January update, but for now I'm simply assuming its a minor break up until the volume is out!
