There's really nothing to recap beyond what we're seeing. We're seeing Allen's memories which he is unlocking with a Bookman offshoot.

A little refresher for those who’s lost,
Allen is trying to find the truth of his well being and why he’s the host of the 13th Noa and that it leads to a certain book shop that happened to be a secret place for the Bookman clan. Allen was given the opportunity to find out the truth of who he is but at the cost of risking his life on the line to find that truth. Which leads us to this.

Then the amnesiac Allen (nameless at the time) joined a circus, and with some twisted fate, met Mana the Millenium Earl, assumed a dog’s name that’s coincidentally Allen, manifested an Innocence, and Cross Marian took him under his “care,” all while Allen himself unknowingly carrying the package that is Nea.

questions about ch252,
1) was original allen part of the order, more importantly was he a finder? he mentions his unit, but i wasn't sure if og allen is part of the order, he doesn't wear the finders robe, but i don't remember if they ever changed clothes like how exorcists gets new uniforms.
sub questions) what happen to the finders and Hevlaska? i don't remember seeing Hevlaska after the order moved hideouts, but i could be wrong 2

) second, the attack by Apo, was the attack meant to kill OG allen or did it intentionally turn him into a kid, cus we've seen allen as a kid, but the way the attack was drawn, it looks like it was a reverse aging attack, the panels made it looked liked the attack was going to deage OG allen into non-existence but previous lavi stopped from fulling killing OG allen

3) do we know anything more about this Lavi? ik he was just introduced, but i was wondering if he was referenced in early chapters or was forshadowed

4)(not 252 specific) i might be remembering wrong but if Apo can control innocence, why hasn't ever forced Hevlaska to tell him where allen is during early DGM? isn't Hevlaska basically half innocence? ik she was human, but she was experimented or something, i forgot her backstory, do we even know her full back story (edited)

Also I'm getting the distinct impression that Apocryphos did not intend for the Innocence to attune to Allen here. Which would make a lot more sense than anything else, quite frankly.

questions about ch252,

1. I assumed he was a part of the military, unaffiliated with the order. The finder idea does make sense, but I wouldn't believe it because someone from the order should know what the Noah are.

1.5 I think it was mentioned right after the move that Hevlaska went into dormancy because of how much stress she was put under from the attack. Don't quote me on that though. For the finders, they do still exist, I know two of Chaoji's friends are still alive, I think we see them in an earlier chapter too when everyone is searching for Allen and Kanda, and the arc where Timothy is introduced some of them have been turned into his persona and ben imprisoned. However I think most of them died during the attack. They're also just not as relevant to the story since we're not in the order anymore.

2. My interpretation of it is Apo was trying to erase OG Allen from existence (I guess by reversing his time), resulting in him turning into a kid, however OG/Past Lavi interrupted it which is why Allen became a kid again. There are still some things that are unclear which will probably be revealed in a later chapter.

3. We don't. However I feel like I remember seeing a flashback panel of him in a previous chapter ages ago but who knows.

4. Apo is innocence. He's a creature created from it to protect the Heart. He doesn't work with the order/the order doesn't know about him so I'm assuming he doesn't want them to be involved/know about him. There is no real answer, my guess is that her dormancy prevents hi from doing so, she also protects the innocence, so him doing something invasive like that might harm it which he doesn't want.

See, as I was reading, I was really confused about Past Lavi's looks because he looks exactly like the flashbacks/memory snippets we've seen of Allen, so them fusing would make a whole lot of sense

Apocryphos tried to unborn Allen, which would erase Nea in the process, Lavi stopped it, which I think also resulted in the innocence fusing onto Allen... It's clearly not been 43 years since Allen and Lavi started traveling together before Apocryphos catches them, so I was wondering why it took so long for Allen to show up, but perhaps the innocence that separated itself from Apocryphos and became one with Allen did the thing Leenalee's did and protected him from the outside world until he was fully recovered from Apocryphos' attack.

Also I know it's hard to remember stuff from last chapter but damn I wish people would actually discuss the chapter instead of talking about how confusing it is. This happens every time.

So my theory is Apo tried to erase Allen with reversing his age but since Lavi hugged him in the middle of attack he caught in too, at the end of it somehow they exchanged their hair colours(it's just my assume this Allen has red hair because of the shading), they turned into children. Allen went to circus meanwhile child Lavi adopted by grandpa Bookman? Since I started with first season anime and skipped those parts in manga I didn't see but if you search for young Lavi we know and look his history it looks like he said something to Bookman smiling widely plus he has patch on his right eye. At the end Allen didn't turned into nothing because Lavi gave up his life too and Lavi actually didn't die like the Bookmans that Allen is together with thinks.

+ After looking at last chapter I remembered Nea said Allen's body was tampered and this was probably what he meant.
