The old Lavi gave a middle finger to Apo... eat shit you monster, but it seems this was when his obsession with Allen started.

I think we will not need to worry about this flashback being too long, in just two chapters since it started Hoshino-sensei already showed the "first" Allen, the old Jr, showed a bit of their personalities and what happened to them and how our Allen came to exist.

Maybe next chapter she will show a little more, but with this pace... I think she wants to go back to the main story as quickly as possible... I think she is burned out with flashbacks too XD.

I don't think this is reincarnation, Bookman uses a very special power to store the information they have, it was implied that anyone could be chosen as Bookman Jr, but it seems it wasn't true.

But by the looks of it, a person with the potential to become Jr, is rare and probably governed by some "mystical logic" so that at most two exist at any given time, so when the old Lavi finally died, the space for a new Jr opened.

It's the same with real life.
Both sides have evil person in the top positions.
And if we want, we probably able to find goodness in each side.
But in the end, this is probably not fight between good and evil.

If innocence are merely "organisms" managed by things like apocryphos, then what is "god"?

And there still might be extra significance to the curse. Is the curse the result of old lavis soul passed through the akuma process? That mightve been the earls attempt to isolate nea from "allen"

Basically took a while for the last one to get translated I believe, so we were just behind on chapters.

after all these years we're finally getting somewhere with Allen's actual past. too bad this series had such long pauses and can be quite convoluted in all its different plots, which makes rereading one or two chapters not enough to remember most or all of the story up to this point.

i believe there also was some kinda time skip, and the sudden increase of that demon family, as well as a more worldwide approach to the story overall.

i cannot say for sure i know what's going on right now aside the immediate chapters, but again, i'm glad we're finally seeing allens past revealed.

Still don't understand shid about this helix stuff even after rereading chp 221. I thought reincarnation isn't possible once oldLavi become part of Allen but then Nea which already devoured by Mana exist. Also about innocence, there's theory that oldLavi might become Crown Clown consciousness but guess that wasn't the case.
