All right. Spoil me please. I ain't gonna readin' the novel.
I was curious too but haven't gotten around to reading yet. Here's one of the author's (MTL'd) comments from chapter 42 of the WN which coincides with 15.2:

That’s pretty much the gist of it! In terms of order:

  1. Tell Liliana, "You are a dog." → A powerful curse with magic-infused words. This is similar to how Platy told the protagonist when they were young, “You will become the Demon King,” or how the command “kneel” made a beastman with weak magic resistance bow down. Words imbued with strong magic are an ancient form of magic, and they have the coercive power to warp reality on their own.
  2. Use magic that forbids remembering one’s true identity. → This causes the target (Liliana) and the protagonist, who is the source of the magic, to forget their true identities. (Normally, the caster’s "Ante" would also be affected, but by transferring into the protagonist's soul vessel, they can avoid the effect). Liliana will forget that she is Saintess Liliana, and the protagonist will forget that they are Hero Alexandre.
  3. Once Liliana is in a blank state, unable to remember her true identity, the curse of "You are a dog" will take effect. → This causes Liliana to begin simulating the concept of a "dog" as she understands it and to start acting like one. As a result, her personality and memories as Liliana are sealed. Similarly, the protagonist will lose their background as Alexandre and will begin to act as a demon prince, Zilbagias, who has a deep hatred for dark creatures and a strong desire to take Liliana back.
From the protagonist's perspective, they hope that when they return to their room and are alone with Liliana, Ante will lift the magic and they’ll regain their memories.

Chapter 15.1 also skips an important bit in the novel which will likely be shown as a flashback.

After some extreme skimming (deep story spoilers):
Liliana will eventually regain her limbs and ego, and returns home (secretly; she's still officially missing) to report to her mother the queen about Alec.

It is fucked up that this is better than her previous situation. Fuck. I hope he removes the metal preventing her arms and legs from healing.

not talking about her? i talk about the torturerer.. you make it sound like she is faking to have pains and her limbs cutted off. :korone:
No I'm actually just retarded, my brain somehow twisted it into you saying that the prince should be tortured, mainly because way too many people in this comment section think the prince brainwashed her

Elf waifu obtained!!!

But seriously, I'm impressed by the restraint from the prince. I would have crashed out a long time ago.

Wait, why are people surprised? Oh, you didn't read all the spoilers from previous discussions.
I commend you for your discipline and iron will.

It's so unusual that people don't read spoilers?
I don't think so. I only do that when a series have been in hyatus for a long time, or it's an axed adaptation of some novel.

At least for now, I'm impressed they focused on the high-stakes bluffs he's running on. MC went so boldly the main thing isn't suspected at all, while creating a causus belli to attack the dark elves. Mercy killing her would've been much more suspicious than this.
Sometimes a big, ridiculous lie is more believable small one.

There was a conman who managed to "sell" the Eiffel Tower in 3 separate scams.
