Nice to see that Gaine is not escaping some of the bad parts of the consequences. But it sucks that Char will get some of the bad results since she is roped into this by being a newbie member of the party/group.

I feel that Gaine isn't going to spend any real time in prison. I feel his dad may bail him out.

But then again, the situation is too big to coverup and his actions did bring shame to the family. His dad may disown him and let him rot.

But I don't think he will learn his lesson in any way. I see him to continue to plot against Claus in prison, blame Claus for everything that befalls him, and never take responsibility for his own decisions and actions.

A former A-ranker, with nothing left except the prison jammies on his back, getting sent to what probably amounts to a supermax in this world, with the infamy of charges that say he brought a disaster down on a city? That's like the equivalent of an inmate being tossed into general population then spreading word that he was a cop or a fed who caused a civilian massacre. Unless he's going to spend almost all his waking hours locked in a cell, the other prisoners will probably make sure he has a memorable stay.
