bro i feel I have seen this title somewere lmao.
It's literally any late heisei/early reiwa romcom and human drama. You have DnK, Kanokari, but more evident, seinen dramas written by women (Shounen no Abyss, Inu to Kuzu, Kuzu no Honkai) as examples. Mostly main heroines having trouble to admit MC is where they live and they cope by running into other things (career, reckless hobbies and worst: sleeping around with sexually assertive men or getting into the darkest side of the industry), especially if the MCs are inmature and can't draw lines towards more domineering side heroines.

Honestly i thought Kiyomi's hair color was gonna be peach or light brown. Takeda going for a cherry color is sure an interesting choice.
Pretty sure her hair colour was shown earlier seeing as she was introduced in a colour page

Super's art has been improving lately, the Shigechi cover was a step above the one that preceded it and this one looks ike a step above the Shigechi cover - when you give him time super can really cook. Wish he could transfer this to chapters but weekly schedule is what it is.

53 is even simpler, the whole arc, even though Agawa already made clear that she and Gotou are just sex friends, she begin to act jealous when Akito is introduced, this culminates in the studing part of the arc, where Gotou wanted to study seriously, and Akito tagged along, but Agawa got jealous, she began to send spicy pics to Gotou, then interrupted the study sesion by flirting with Gotou, also the sole reaons why with Akito went to Gotou´s house was because of Agawas provocation, so Gotou was at wits end because of Agawas constant flirting and she teased Akito to have sex with Gotou, the whole sex and Gotou failing debacle is mostly on her, does that mean that Gotou and Akito get a pass? Hell no, they have personal responsability, but again this entire situation rests mostly on Agawas shoulders.
"Gotou was at wits end because of Agawas constant flirting and she teased Akito to have sex with Gotou, the whole sex and Gotou failing debacle is mostly on her".

This is where we disagree because I believe Gotou is ultimately responsible (aka: fully responsible) for his own actions and I don't blame Agawa for his failed exams. Agawa loves sex and is quite playful, and Gotou even successfully shuts her and Akito down before the teacher interrupts them and kicks them out. What happens afterwards (Akito going after Gotou) was unintentionally caused by Agawa, but Gotou is solely responsible for turning Akito down when he knows that his current priority should be studying.

In Ch.53, you can see that both Gotou and Agawa agree that Gotou messed up. If you insist on interpreting everything that happened from when Gotou, Akito and Agawa "studied" to Gotou getting back his failed exams as Agawa's fault, then there's nothing I can say to convince you otherwise.

I agree that Agawa was worried about Gotou´s academic performance, but that wasn´t all there was to it, she was also punishing him for fucking Akito, Agawa, at first wanted to apologize to Akito for teasing her, she never did, also she apolgized to Gotou, but Gotou said that she shoud´t that it was actually his fault, and Agawa says that yeah everything is his fault, what Agawa did in this part of the arc is shitty to me, she tempted Gotou constantly, she teased Akito to fuck him and when she actually did, even tought she knows she is in the wrong, she never apologizes to her, and when Gotou puts the blame on himself she takes this oportunity to wipe her hands clean of the situation, and for me, the reason why she did that is because she is mad at Gotou for fucking other girls, as you say they aren´t exclusive, but it is clear that both suffer when the other fools aroud with other people, my point in the OG comment was that in general Agawa takes it worse than Gotou, and even though I used the word shitty to describe this chapter 53 situation, as i said in my response I agree shitty was a strong word and is wrong, may it would be more correct to say the times were Agawa ends up hurting Gotou (whenever she intends to or not) and Gotou somehow manages to pay her back with the same coin with out being revenge.
You add a lot of personal (and, in my opinion, unfounded) interpretation to an event in which I see Gotou as fully responsible for.

1. "she was also punishing him for fucking Akito"

This just isn't true. Agawa doesn't act and has never acted maliciously towards Gotou.

2. "Agawa, at first wanted to apologize to Akito for teasing her, she never did, also she apolgized to Gotou"

Agawa initially wanted to apologize for interrupting Gotou and Akito's serious study session with her playful flirting. She does not and should not apologize for Gotou failing his exams because that's on him, not her.

3. "even tought she knows she is in the wrong, she never apologizes to her, and when Gotou puts the blame on himself she takes this oportunity to wipe her hands clean of the situation"

Agawa isn't in the wrong here at all, and how was she to know that Akito was going to sleep with Gotou before the exams? There's nothing wrong with Agawa playfully flirting with Gotou, and there was nothing wrong with Gotou shutting her (and Akito) down. Gotou messed up when he gave Akito a "goodbye kiss", which eventually led to them having sex and Gotou becoming too horny to study properly.

Again, Gotou, like every other individual, is responsible for managing his own actions. It's his responsibility, not Agawa's, to manage his own lust and turn down others when he has to study. You absolve Gotou of personal responsibiliy for his own mistakes.

My opinion on the cast being pathetic and unreliable is because of say Akito being a constant simp to Gotou even though is clear that she lost, or Shina that traumatised Agawa and maybe many others because daddy is an asshole and that means all men are trash, they are still good caracters if anything my opinion is the same that you have with Gotou.
Akito being a simp makes her a bit pathetic, but I don't see why you would call her unreliable at all. It's likely that Shiina traumatized Agawa (we just haven't seen Agawa's complete backstory yet, so we don't have the full context), but as of right now, both sisters are on good terms. Again, I don't see Shiina as pathetic or unreliable, but if you want to think of her and the entire cast that way, more power to you.

This is what I mean with mostly responsable, I am not saying that Gotou nor Akito should be absolved because of Agawa´s actions, but from a narative standpoint, the one that is responsable for how the arc played out is Agawa that is my argument, morally of course Gotou shoudn´t have fucked Akito in fact going to 53 there is a scene that caught my atention, Agawa asks Gotou, essntially if that is going to keep happening, Gotou just says well... and then is when Agawa leaves, maybe if Gotou was more I dunno decisive and said no things would have played out diferently. But again my original argument was more narrative than moral. When it comes to the personal responsability of characters I 100% agree with you Gotou is at fault for his own actions, so does Agawa and etc.

What what we ultimately disagree is that I still feel Agawa was punishing Gotou for fucking other girls, in end Agawa has insecurities with Shina and is jealous of Akito, and Gotou doing it with them of course sits bad with her, you are right they aren´t anything romantic, but that doesn´t mean that it doesn´t hurt them, and Agawa I feel has more of a tendensy to lash out.
Akito being a simp makes her a bit pathetic, but I don't see why you would call her unreliable at all. Well also considering charaters like Kiyomi in this chapter, yeah every character is a little pathetic in my eyes, but they of course have good things about them, unreliable was incorrect for me to use.

What I will argue about is the Shina thing, thecnically we do have the backtory from the deleted chapters, yes I know is a redcon, but for the most part it seems to have remaind the same, for me Shina is pathetic for reaching the all men are thrash conclution from apartenly just his dad being an asshole and again my interpretation maybe im wrong but even thought Shina and Agawa still talk i fell is painfully obvious that their realtionship isn´t as good as it once was and also I never argued against Agawa and Shina being in good terms, but in cases like interpreting characters is personal preferences and of course I respect yours.

I think to conclude, considering that my OG post was wrong with its predictions lmao, I liked this back and forth and honestly, even thought I argued a lot of points, I aprecieate yours and you made me realize some of my biases, thanks for your time man.

Agawa is hurt by Gotou's actions, but I disagree that she "lashes out". You tend to frame Agawa's actions in a negative light ("malicious", "shitty", "punishing", "lashes out"), which I don't agree with, but I respect your right to do so.

I'm also not sure about how much the retconned chapters affect the current story, so I hesitate to evaluate Shiina (and Agawa) before we get the entire context for this current timeline.

No worries. We definitely disagree a bit, but I appreciate your passion for Daredemo because it's my favorite ongoing manga (which is why @Chekov is my GOAT lol).

Tbf, Agawa's only responsible for Gotou's ED, but everything before that, and after the life counseling meeting Gotou, Shiina, Kiyomi, Shigemi, Akito and Agawa had is all Gotou's own fault.

Time for a very late summary
1.JPG2-3.JPG4-5.JPG
Gotou and Agawa are in the library, and while scaling a ladder, Agawa complains that she's been doing all the organizing herself since he's stopped coming around to the library. While doing so, Agawa catches Gotou looking up her skirt and teases him for it, Gotou only offering a bashful half hearted refutation. Then Agawa asks if his dick is okay now, appologizing for giving him ED. Gotou is shocked that she knew about that, and rejects her apology, saying that she did nothing wrong and that he is just a selfish moron.
6-7.JPG8-9.JPG10-11.JPG
Agawa asks if Shigemi fixed his dick and if he'll become her sex friend. Gotou weakly denies both accounts. She then asks if he will marry the teacher even though she knows he was just having sex with Akito. He weakly affirms this before immedietly deflating and admitting that he is a very stupid boy, revealing to Agawa that he just promised Akito that he'll marry her while they were having sex, and that this was after he had sex with Shigemi that morning; rhetorically asking Agawa "What am I?".
12-13.JPG14-15.JPG18.JPG
Agawa answers that he is an idiot, and that as long as he's not gotten anyone pregnant, he just needs to chill the fuck out with the marriage talk. She also flexes a bit by bringing up how many times in a row they used to do it, and casually throws it out there that she wouldn't mind doing it again; Gotou agrees. However, rather than act upon it, the pair nervously laugh it off, Agawa mentioning that she doesn't want to get yelled at by a teacher again; and after all Gotou just did it with Akito. But in the end Agawa without saying a word, closes the gap between them.
Gotou showing a great deal of self awareness.
