Ares getting to flex just how badass he is is always nice. And its not just that he's powerful but also extremely logical which is a great boon in battle, taking advantage of the vampire's cockiness and ego despite the fuckup from the Hero. I kinda hope he just goes keep on doing vigilante shit and doesn't bother with them.
Speaking of the Hero, we finally got confirmation that she's a girl and the reason she kicked him out was because she needed to hide her status as a girl...despite the fact that Ares probably would not give a single shit, not that she'd know it. At least she seems a bit remorseful about kicking him out without giving him a suitable reason so for now she's still just a naive dummy to me and nothing worse. She does need to buckle down and start listening to others more if she wants to be an actual successful hero though.

This shitty little girl is annoying. I font give a shit if the hero is a woman or a man, the important thing is for them to carry out their duty as should be or fuck off. I wouldn't complain if the hero was like "fuck you and your hero mission. Peace out!". But when she accepted and acted as the hero then she should stop docking around with her "no men in my party" bullshit. I want her to get fucked up in battle so badly that she forgets her name
