This story is so damn good. If you cut out all the sketchy stuff, the art, fight scenes, impactful moments, etc are so well crafted.

Thanks DevilBro for all the translations. Hope this becomes more active as it’s such a good series. Crazy to me that it’s under 50k bookmarks with how much everything else is growing nowadays.

I like this manga. From the idea to the world building and the comedy, it's a perfect mix.
But the story so far is : a problem arise - everybody do something- someone gets hurt - Maou knows everything and comes at the right moment everytime and resolves everything (heal leg, purify curses, stopping a lady from becoming an average American)
And on top of it, the OP fight. It's not funny as One Punch man. The author tries to make it cool which make it cringe.

Random LN reader here, just popping in to say I'm happy to see this LN got a solid manga adaptation after all. I'd given up hope for that around the time I looked into the manga situation after the first anime season aired in mid-2019, but now it's been >5 years and a lot has changed for the better.

Maou-sama Retry is my favorite Overlord clone... You can tell the author is passionate and creative with it.

Last episode of the second anime season has confirmed that:

pigtail girl from the flashback in Chapter 44.2 is Hakuto's "former boss", and that he's actually the fallen angel Lucifer. This means that the Hakuto personality could be an artificial one, which means we need to figure out whether the other Lucifer series "Last Boss" or this one came up with this plot point first.

This also means that his boss may have been the Cherub in disguise the whole time watching over him like an Overly Attached Girlfriend.
