This kind of shit happened all the time in EQ and other early MMOs. Monster trains were a real threat then as Hell early days of wow you could kite a max-level dreadlord to a starting area and watch the havoc unfold.

No such thing as fighting honourably for PKers. They're griefers, and griefers gonna grief. Yeah, that's how they fight. Everything that can give them an advantage, unfair or not, is what they'll do.

Well, not all of them. Some do like the challenge of PvP, but those generally go for more agreed-upon battles (if there aren't actual arenas and stuff). Fighting a PvE geared player with PvP gear is easy in most games.

The only manga I know got good PK arc was Shangri-la Frontier. But well it's about time we get a PK in this manga anyway.

The thing to keep in mind is that this VRMMO is entirely geared towards PvP - all the PvE stuff is there for is grinding and special events.

Which means that, of course, we're not dealing with ordinary PKers.

They're fucking farming the other players. (Remember the field full of loot bags in the previous chapter? They took the good stuff and left the rest behind.)

Which also means they're using every goddamned dirty trick in the book, regardless if they actually need to or not, to do their thing. Because when you're doing this shit "professionally", then there's no such thing as overkill. Just risk vs reward - in which case you want to minimize risk as much as possible by using dirty tricks to maximize the reward.
