…while I’d love to ship them, some part of me deep deep down in my gut is screaming at me that he’s actually a kid. A little boy to be precise, who wanted to be big and strong and was swayed by the bad guy with sweet words and promises. It’d make sense as to:
why he’s so dumb
why he doesn’t know about sex
why he’s so bad at lying
why he’s so honest about promises
You have a good kid who was tricked into being the bad guy and it’d be subverting our expectations, like how the bad girl was a whale or how the other magical girl is only good at offense, which would make for a killer punchline.
