disabled/chronically ill mcs/themes of disability?

what it says in the title! i love reading things i can relate to as a chronically ill girlie myself.

i just finished the summer you were there and owieeee T_T cried at the end but it was worth it.

i generally skip over/avoid nsfw themes and gore, and if the manga does a magic-fix plotline i'll probably stop bc those are So Boring T_T

Not a manga, but a nice visual novel - Katawa Shoujo.
Adult content there can be turned off in settings, but even when on there isn't many scenes of that and it's rather timid and not too graphical.
Turning off nsfw you won't miss anything that important, but I'd suggest trying to play with it turned on.
