Have to agree with others, in hindsight I cant recommend this. Feels like nothing happened at all.

People are so paranoid about yuri bait. like, in what world would "how do I get together with my female friend" have the penultimate chapter end on a very clear set up for the most clear confession so far, a call back to how the series started with someone confessing their love to Yuzu in that very room, with both characters confirmed to be explicitly, romantically, in love with each other, and then they don't get together.

This series undoubtedly has terrible writing but that in and of it self isn't any indication of bait.

I think they were mocking a series that just ended called "My New Friend Wasn't What I Expected." That also seemed like obviously not bait and obviously gay, then did exactly what that person described in its final chapter. Check the comment number on its final chapter. Actually was more annoying than they described. Terrible. Sometimes there is good reason to be worried. But I agree with you.

Me. This is for me.
I had fun watching Minami flail about being silly, finding out what the real hangup was, and seeing how they overcome it.
If those volumes were all nothing, why did you even get this far? Were you not having fun? If you weren't, why are you even here? Did you want to see the confession? Well you're about to get it.

Certainly it's not for any of the people who are mad about the manga with a title like "How do I turn my best friend into my girlfriend" ending when the final confession comes in.
It's a will-they/won't-they story. Ending when that question is answered is not really unexpected at this point.

Well, i just read the raws of the last chapter (28, both parts)...

Part 1 has the confession and a hug, and they're finally kissing in the last pages of part 2. I'm still not proficient enough in Japanese to get everything, but I did understand "I'm your girlfriend, right?", "I want to kiss you", "I love you" and that they want to go to school together. It is cute. But delaying it until the final few pages of the last chapter? Bah. We're not going to see them actually in the relationship now.

Anyways, volume 5 (in Japanese) is apparently releasing on February 17.
