Yeah, its about what I sorta expected...

This story had something good going then it fumbled near the end and never really recovered. This just feels... hollow. I feel nothing. Only thing I remotely feel is livid at how long this got dragged, and how underwhelming the payoff is.

I have gotten at least two more screenshots for the folder but this was not it chief...

What a disappointment, this should have been 10 chapters shorter. Literally nothing changed between them in 28 chapters, they aren't any closer than they already were in chapter 1. And then suddenly Minami can't kiss her girlfriend for a whole month despite trying to kiss her several times before when they were friends. Character undevelopment if I've ever seen it.
The ending falls flat after so many chapters of literally nothing happening.

as just pure turn-your-brain-off fluff this series is fine but looked at any deeper than that and it was like, really mediocre 😭
neither of them were likeable by the end because the reasons for them not getting together got so ridiculously contrived it blew way past believability. she friendzoned you in fucking elementary school so you think she'll not only remember that but will never be capable of change? after countless advances and literally saying "i want you"??
it just gets annoying. they don't even have any chemistry by the end, they just get together because that's obviously what's gonna happen.
i've never been less invested in a yuri relationship.

i'm only so worked up because this series had really solid potential, the art is great and the characters are fun when they're not being, yknow. and the fluff scenes are really really good. the author creates some great tension when they're being intimate. it just felt completely wasted when the scenarios started repeating themselves every single chapter before it awkwardly stumbled over the finish line out of obligation.

i'm happy it ended and they are together but i think it would have been 100 times better if they had gotten together in the ski trip, that final bait moment with the almost kiss ruined the ending for me, we could have had 3 chapters of them together but instead we get half of one

don't get me wrong they are cute but i just wanted more, the manga started really strong and i expected a little more from it

This was good if not great. The art and character look was a bit generic looking though. Not exceptionally memorable because of that. It has happened to me with this series before and I can definitely see re-reading it again because of the characters being forgettable. That's actually a plus! It also had some nice suggestive panels for a wholesome series without that tag. Always love that!

Author you can literally do better however they got together in the end so it reached my bare minimum. Time to forget this series exists and only read their other one!

Tbh, somewhere halfway, I started caring more about the side characters than the main couple. It kind of happens with alot of yuri manga for some reason, at least imo the ones I read.
