When the girl from matchmaking appeared in the last chapter I was getting a bit worried that she might be a nuisance and try to go after Yuuki again, but the author avoided that cliché as always.

Now I hope the new confrontation with Harutaka will help Ban to understand her own feelings and won’t end in Yuuki being at the end of his rope again…

heh, I dunno.
If the critique is about Ban's behavior, I'd say you're forgetting she has some trauma from her past relationship. You're also grossly glossing over some rather steamy stuff both of them got into out of their own free will.

Now, if the story really had teenagers in it, you would just have lucky pervert moments, a bunch of "I'm not so sure what this feeling is" and all that jazz plastered everywhere... a stark contrast with what's happening in the story imo.
But to begin with, you assume what "real teenagers" are and how they act. Maybe you're right, maybe you're wrong, but at the end of the day there's no one-size-fits-all for humans, so your assumptions can only get you so far. Just keep in mind you might have a very uneducated opinion about the matter.

If this was a josei they'd definitely sleep together. She's insecure, he comforts her etc. It's definitely "drama" but it'd be a bit too cheap and soap opera-like.

Also, If Ban-san wasn't so autistic she might realize what Yuuki is feeling having to watch his love interest and ex living together and getting along under the same roof! That's infinitely worse. But she won't.
