I just keep wondering, who was this series aimed at? The MC was downtrodden in life, gets reincarnated as a scummy person post them being scum and now has to live with the consequences of anothers actions so continues to be down trodden and now has to overcome more hardships....
At least give us a reason he has to suffer so like he kicked puppies or a god was evil and wanted someone to suffer like come on.

Maybe something like "the mistakes fron the past happened and there will be consequences but as long as you have learn from them and start taking steps to improve yourself, your life will turn for the better" (yes i know it's not his actions but hey, it's a premise for the sudden changes) or "rather than complaining about the current situation which you can't do anything about, might as well adapt and make the most out of it, which is something you can do"

He really needs to make it clear his "soul" is not the same anymore, there really is no benefit to keep pretending to be the same guy the body was before.
They live in a magical world, I'm sure they must have some form of magic lie detecting spell that would resolve most of his current issues FAR quicker than just spending years of hard work trying to redeem the sins of SOMEONE ELSE.

Yeah, its so weird that mc is taking all sins on himself, like acknowledge mistakes, try to better yourself, apologies and try to redeem your connetions but there is no need for himself to feel ashamed, why should innocent person like him go through this, If you wanted this just make fantasy redemtion story, I have no intention to watch person get humiliated for things he didnt do and him just going along with, it's unfortunate but I will be probably drop this early

Just my 2 cents but unfortunately it's human nature to be interested in your bad deeds and ignore your good ones. Let's put it this way, you are falsely charged with rape, everyone is going after you and your family's head. And then a while later you get proven innocent. Congratulations, nobody gives a f**k, you lost years of life in prison, probably getting railed by inmates. People are still going to label you a rapist. Now if you spend years lamenting about it, nothing will change, so your best option is to adapt to the situation and build yourself up from the bottom. After all, if you can't change yourself, how exactly are you expecting to change others? Unfair? Yes, but such is life. It would be very nice if justice is served but if you cling your life into expecting that....not gonna lie small possibility then, well.....
Now back to the MC, judging by his current situation, everybody hates his guts, nobody is going to listen to what he has to say. Do you really think they would give him a chance to prove his innocence? So, what is the best course of action available to him? Show people that he is a changed man, so they will listen to him first, then find the chance to prove his innocence. The actual changes witnessed by everyone will further support his statements. After all would you believe in what you see or in the words of a dude you hate?
So yeah, what he is doing is pretty logical to me

I mean, the character MC has reincarnated into is shown to be bottom of the barrel, absolute trash of a human being who would go to violate another girl's, so I don't think him going "Oh sorry everyone, I'm not that person, my soul is different" isn't going to go over very well.

The new maid is Issable, she is a spy send by Princess Sylvia which is the lady. She is there to observe leolde and keep tabs on him on behalf of the kingdom. Based on WN, she and the knight that train Leolde will be married.
Issable will replace Sheria as head maid after Sheria joins seigs harem and Sylvia will fall deeply in love with Leolde. She even went out all the way to fix her sadistic habit so that Leolde will like her (Leolde as of now doesnt like her sadist and manipulative habit

The king literally erases his past mistakes, marks him as a hero (of course) and his rape victim fiancee has been called a whore slut for not seeing his true side and the author just wants us to accept that narrative. Might as well throw off the cause and effect storytelling.

The king did not erase his past mistakes. He was simply rewarded for all of his achivements that he worked for with one he almost lost his life defending his feif. Many still hate him for what he did including his siblings (fixed later in story after almost dying from saving them from kidnappers) and his ex fiancee's family (which even asked leolde why didnt he change his attitude sooner) Leolde even work hard behind the scene to try and apologize to everyone he did wrong and not all forgive him (forgot which chapter but it was from others perspective)
No rape has happened as far as I read just that he was really abusive and an asshole before remembering his past.
His ex fiancee issue is more or less political drama. Leolde who managed to secure achivements after being disowned causes many noble to simply switch narrative so they can suck up to him

You read a lot of fantasy, but maybe you haven't expanded your repertoire to the villainess series? There are a whole lot of them, and the common theme is that a regular, non-evil, girl or woman takes over the body and position of a villainess in a "typical" story, where the villainess is usually fated to get killed or at least exiled. Everybody and their cats'n'dogs naturally hate the villainess. They can be interesting series, but sometimes I also ask myself why there's such a difference that in shounen isekai series the MC usually gets cheat powers and allies for a rewarding life, whereas in shoujo isekai the MC usually has too little power but a whole lot of enemies and a dire fate already waiting for her.
Still, since the MC was originally a downtrodden person in Japan, who didn't stand for his own dignity or rights but allowed himself to be exploited by his coworkers, you could say that this is his chance to show the world that he can do it through his own effort, starting from the bottom (although not really, he's still relatively well off). If he can pull it off, he will be mentally much stronger than he was in his previous life.

The rape scene in the first chapter is weird, Pig was together with other students, we know that from the clothes, but it seems like unlucky MC possessed him before that happened, at the same time the exile event was locked in the original story, so I don't understand how was Pig in the school when he was kicked out the insitute, his family and the territory itself.

It's why I questioned who this series is for, like what did the MC do in his previous life to deserve what he's getting now. I feel like it's like an extreme version of beating the odds story without actually thinking about it.
I'm pretty sure t he rape event happened due to what he says during the memories part in ch1.
No matter what the MC does he can never get the forgiveness for the rape and other bad things his body did. But I'm also like why the feck is he getting forgivness for things he didn't do.
