Rodri won the Ballon D'or!
I thought it was a tight race between him, Vini, and Jude. Can't really go wrong with either, though. Congrats to him! Can't wait to see him recover and get back on the pitch. Vini had a bad COPA, so that might have lost him some points. Jude, he saved Southgate from getting deported 30 seconds before the match ended, so that alone should have disqualified him.
Nah, just kidding. XD
So ManU finally had enough of ETH. Too bad, he didn't last until at least half the season. Pep sacrificed a cup just so ManU would keep him and everyone else can fuck with ManU for another season. Too bad it didn't last long. T_T
Speaking of sacrifice a cup, he probably did it again to let his players rest. Now they won't have to worry about playing any more FA Cup matches. Neither Haaland nor Son was playing, so at least they can be at full health when they play again. If Spurs can win a cup, even just an FA cup, good for them. I'm not sure if the teams are taking this seriously, either.
Aston Villa beaten by Crystal Palace...?
It seems like the last few days have been terrible for Madrid. First, they got annihilated at home by Barcelona. Where the hell was this Lewandowski in the Euro...? Did Poland not pay him enough?
XD Anyway, 4-0, and stopped RM from breaking their undefeated record. That's gotta hurt. Mbappe broke another record, just not the one he wanted: most offsides in a single match: 8. In comparison, Haaland was offside a total of 6 times the entire last season. But to be fair here, he's not to blame for the loss. Not entirely. Barca was just too damn good. They didn't beat Bayern 4-1 for no reason. On top of that, people have been laughing at them for ditching the award ceremony. Imagine if Vini or Jude had won, and the camera pans to an empty chair? XD Another shock: Ronaldo missed a penalty; Al-Nassir eliminated, no more cup for them, either. Tough week for RM and CR7 fans.
