My first instinct was poison too. Since they gave it a name and it seems infectious, I'm thinking it's either a monster or a disease.

Not sure what being a nurse can do against the former, but I'm sure she'll figure this out and turn out to be some kind of miracle worker as a result.

Regarding the gold coin...I guess it's not actually made of too much gold? What metal currencies would snap like that under pressure?

@Pahn I mean, so far she has performed basic textbook CPR and checked someone’s pulse. Even her line of thought trying to figure out the cause of the illness by deduction is something all nurses and medical professionals are trained to do. I think everything we’ve seen from her so far is quite realistic.

@Psychronia At the very least a nurse would understand you can neutralize poisons with chelators and diluting/purging them with diuretics.
