Livin' the dream.
Fucking with your family is normal
ummm.....soo....about that.....😐I feel like the people who dont like Akira forget that she and Yuuki are cousins. I agree that she takes it too far, but she isnt just doing this to some stranger lol. Fucking with your family is normal
I politely agree and disagree. I would say the best way to phrase this would be something like “Live for yourself, be true to yourself, rather than following some plan that others would have you do, it’s your life not theirs”. Within the bounds of ethics ideally.![]()
Mmm, nope, I don't think I do...
Besides which, I find advice like, "Just do what you want," or "Don't care about what other people think" to often be very incomplete and potentially dangerous. The sentiment is nice, but there is value in considering others' opinions as well. The difficulty is finding a balance between the two extremes.
Anyways, I will give it to Akira that she was/is cute though, and it sucks that she had a bad boss. Not a good reason to become one yourself though...
this is talking about something slightly different but it’s basically saying just because society says something doesn’t make society right!“A lie doesn’t become truth, wrong doesn’t become right, and evil doesn’t become good, just because it’s accepted by a vast majority” - Rick Warren
Yes, but I think most will find that living purely for oneself also loses all value. That's the balance I was referring to. Life is best when you're able to connect and align your values with others. You can't do that by ignoring everyone else's values, but you also can't do this by ignoring your own values and forcing yourself to blindly conform. There has to be some level of effort to make the two sides meet. That's what I was getting at, if that makes any sense.I politely agree and disagree. I would say the best way to phrase this would be something like “Live for yourself, be true to yourself, rather than following some plan that others would have you do, it’s your life not theirs”. Unless you are a robot or AI I find there is little value to be had in doing what others think you should do. If it’s right for you, you do you even if a vast majority wouldn’t aprove or whateve which reminds me of a quote:

Anyways just my viewpoint, not meant to be preachy or argumentative Just thought that I‘d share.![]()
