Little Victoria is WAY too cute. She needs her own manga not set in this world, in a nice world, lol.

To spend so much time on this, the mangaka is definately setting up some kind of redemption arc for her. Like, Raoul will give her a second chance at life since her soul was directly manipulated by the goddess of love and it would be unfair to punish her for an eternity for decisions not entirely her own.

Either that or the mangaka is stalling for time while he thinks about how to proceed with the main plot, especially since there is no more light novel now to base the manga story on.

- Raoul gets into danger > Vicky makes a contract with the gods to suave him > Vicky gets corruped by the gods.
If it follows this logic than every act of cruelty Victoria did wasn't by her own will and Raoul's hate for her will be switched to the gods.

This could be a way to add a little comedy as well. The MC isn't viewing these memories so wouldn't know the reality. But his minions would. So they suddenly becoming adoring fans of her would be weird to see from the MC perspective. Alternatively, maybe going through these memories triggers something that helps the MC out, thus looping this detour back into the main story. 🤔

But the love interest is already done right? She was being dragged into the chamber a while ago, relatively speaking. Quite some time has already passed, even if the MC immediately acts upon this flashbacks end. Or am I misinterpreting the chronology? 😟
