I'm a bit confused... I get that the "lamb" is the son and that the "bull" is supposed to be the "father", but in the end we see the MC outside the castle, with a more or less intact corpse of the father.
Is the author just not showing the full gore?
Because when I reached that point my first reaction was "Whut? Was all this a feverdream caused by the drugs he found in the basement?"
I mean, why feed the father to the son, and then show us the father's corpse in the garden/some distance away from the entire castle? Why drag the apparently intact corpse outside and leave it face down in the dirt when he could've just as well left it in the dining room?
