He may be dense, or just low esteem, but what he does is right: disengage, when the other party starts acting out, be it riddles or else

Also, I'm curious how no one realize that Usami had a twin. Is it because one the twin often skipping class that no one realize it?

He has a reason for not assuming there's something happening even when it's obvious and we will get to it, but not right away. He's not dense. But he doesn't easily believe anymore, either.

As for the twin thing, the short answer is that, yes, she hasn't actually shown up for classes at this point so almost no one is aware of her existence and any sightings of her are naturally attributed to the one everybody knows about. That said, sensei is not as ignorant as she occasionally makes herself out to appear; she has certain things she wants to accomplish and isn't above overt manipulation of her students and massaging of facts to accomplish them. But she's also sometimes just a bit of a cunt.

This is honestly hard to read. In the middle part, the bubbles don’t have a pointer anymore and its so hard to understand who’s speaking. And some sentences feel… off. Like, “It will be too convenient” should be “It would”, and the last bubble is obviously missing some words, but in some other places, I’m pretty sure the translation doesn’t make sense, but can’t guess how to correct it…
