I'm really hoping that the beastmen are not a hated minority in this manga too. It gets in the way of the fluffy calming of the reading when a author feels the need to make up group a people to discriminate against just to show how horrible humans can be. Considering the almost arbitrary hate of the parents to their own child for plot proposes, I do not hold much hope for this author.

from reading the webnovel MTL it seems at least the neighboring country raids beastmen villages for slaves possibly most or all other non-humans as well. One of the side POV characters is on of its princes who is ordered onto such a raid by his father. Though it might just be that country.
