Just because I think it'd be funny: I hope the wariness is just her misunderstanding.

Where the reality is that after being told by the spirits that the miko was nearby, the elves came and found Lerunda.
And their stern look was just them being extremely nervous trying to not to go all fangirl mode over her.

i.e. like a certain chapter in the villainess anthology, they're all secretly adoring her

yeah seems like she can already see the spirits even though shes not conscious of it yet
wonder if she's going to do something crazy like become friends with the spirit king/queen

rooting for the Lerunda x Gaius ship. Forgot that Lerunda is the miko. She was able to make a contract with the Sky Horse, Gryphons, and it seems she's able to see the spirits. Hopefully, the elves can welcome her. What i'm wondering is how the humans would react and treat her when they see she is with both Beast-folk and elves. It's obvious the humans are looking for her but at the same time mistreat non-human races. If they attempt to harm her new family they will incure the divine punishment.

Oh, maybe the elves of that particular village who greeted them are just ice queen kuuderes after all. Their chief seems like a wise and tolerant person like the beastkin's elder grandma.

At least our charming little cinnamon roll has the kind of warm charisma that allows her earnest smile to disarm wary people.

The elves are yet unaware, but they made the right choice accepting Lerunda and her village's refugees. Her mere presence should bring them benefits from revitalizing the land around them.
