@Eldwin He's not an actual undead. He just has a skeleton for a body, but not the taint of the dead (it has been mentioned before). His actual body is still alive and well.
That's why when he used the uncurse on himself, his arm got fleshy briefly even before he found the fountain. AFAIK the only problem his skeleton body brings him is his emotion suppresion (which is similar to what happens to intelligent undead in Overlord).

most skills i've known have a maximum cd of 100+ seconds
ultimate skills can go that far while basic skills go around 3-30 seconds random
but basic skills can be strengthened making them go around mid to high tier spells which pretty much can do damage
3 minutes would be a fucking bug

No damage taken and no mana consumption for 3 minutes is completely broken skill, whatever rpg u play, that skill must be nerfed. normally u just have 3 - 10 sec for immortality skill

To be more precise, he’s in his dark elf game character’s layered skeleton skin. We all like to put skins on our MMO characters and Arc was no different when he got reborn as his game character, but it’s honestly a minor detail at this point.

I do recall in the novel that he said it was a broken skill in the game, though I’m not sure of the details anymore. Also, I think it was mentioned that the game he played had many broken skills to balance itself out. Take for example that although he takes no damage and has infinite mp, he didn’t say the buff can’t be removed.

Ok guys where the fuck was it said that he played an elf-character? There was no mention of it and he even did say that he has a skeleton based avatar. Even when he entered the spring we never saw if he had ears like an elf.
Is this some info from the novel? Then it should be a spoiler, if not it is a somewhat baseless theorie, because the 2 girls never reacted towards it if they saw him beeing an elf and they would have asked Arc about it, because they assume he is a human with a curse.

Yours looks like a novel spoiler at most and that is only if the manga didnt change that. Therefore the whole Elf mentioning should be clarified and put as a spoiler at the very least.
PS it GREATLY looks like the manga and novel have quite some differences and shouldn't be put on the same scale. (Because with such changes the things within the novel dont always apply anymore.)

Therefore using spoilers to point out differences is ok, but should be put into spoiler (or otherwise marked) nontheless.

Sadly the villain is not really original, almost like Gluttony with a dash of Father Cornello. In fact this series got pretty unoriginal villains.

The problem with the skill is, it could only be used by mages and doesnt allow for the use of magic while it is in effect aka completely usesless, best posible use would be to tank for a while (which can be pretty hard if you are a mage with no damage capabilities) . Thing is he can still use warrior/paladin/whatheverthefuckelse skill as long as it isnt magic. He is kind of abusing a bug since he can use all the skill of classes he maxed first to be able to use the class he currently has. In the game you could only use the magic/skills of his current class. Dunno if there was a problem with the traducction or the manga artist didnt wasnt to waste 3 pages explaining.

Taken directly from page 20; to me, that sounds as though, for the 3 minute duration of Aeon, he has an effectively unlimited amount of mana with which to fuel his spells. Looked at in that light, it's hella broken for mages. No damage taken and endless mana? Sheeee-it. Depending on cast times (and assuming you have enough mana for at least a single cast, which any good mage would), you could spam the ever living fuck out of the most powerful spells in existence.

I legitimately can't imagine a scenario where the full 3 minute duration is even needed unless some of the higher tier spells just have that slow a cast time.
