1 - He looks like a hentai character. 2 - Indigestion from showering after eating? It's completely illogical. It's one thing to swim after eating, but a bath (shower or bathtub)? This theory is literally from my grandmother's time. I had no idea this theory existed in Japan. It's on the same level as not going barefoot at home because the cold floor could cause illness. I live in a tropical country, so if the difference between the floor and the air is 5 degrees celsius, that's a lot.

Considering the past relations between Brazil and Japan, maybe one influenced the other to have this theory (of eating and taking bath)

I was not thaaat fast, but I decided I would ask my wife in marriage after two weeks or less. I took more time just because I needed some money and don't remember if I tought it would be too soon, I ended asking her six months later.

A lot of people work in fields, that then they believe completely stupid conspiracy theories about contrary to all their training and research they have access to. Just because someone works in an industry or field, doesn't mean they have the wisdom or self-control to actually properly follow the general wisdom you would think that working in that industry would grant them direct access to.

My uncle is an orthopedist and it's addicted to Coke (the drink, not the drugs, lol)

It's most likely just the mankaga not researching stuff, but the husband could be an ophthalmologist or some specialization that doesn't deal with the whole body

Specialist must first understand the whole body. It isn't until the the year 4 where they start to focus on their specialty. Then after that their residency will vary based on their specialization (apparently from 3 years for Internal Medicine to 5 years for General Surgery and Radiology, and I assume that a neurosurgeon would be even longer).

What is it with japanese culture in manga where some men will harass a female character nonstop UNLESS they have a partner in which case they immediately switch gears and go "oops my bad". Do they really behave like an npc this hard over at Japan?

Lol the setting is kinda whacked. Make it getting married by the 3rd month of dating. 3 days is insane. What if husband turns out to be some maniac psychopath doctor that experiments on woman?

How crazy that would be, and stupid decision to get married that swiftly.
