My neighbor is the type to only care about sports games when he bets money, so I guess he bet on Messi?

"Acho mano si no tiras chavos al juego pa que carajo verlo? Con chavitos es que la hace. Eso de ver deportes por el amor es pa maricones"

(Ei bro if you don't throw some money at the game then why even fucking watch it? The money is what gives it that spice. That whole thing of watching sports for the love of it is for f*gs)

Having those types of sports "fans" around me probably played a big part in me not liking sports as I grew up, I associated it with scumbags. Hopefully it's not the same in your area.

Ugh, sports gambling is heavily promoted now. Even leagues are partnering with betting companies

I am very much the opposite - why would I bet on an event where I have zero control over the outcome? That's a phenomenally stupid thing to do. Go play blackjack or poker or something. (I'm sure your uncle is a wonderful person otherwise.)

He's a fucking asshole who tells his employees to do overtime, then when they demand he pay them their dues, he pretends to not know what they are talking about.

He's probably gonna get sued to oblivion one day.

There's a reason most sports in the US will kick you for life if you get caught gambling on a game you're involved in (or in some cases, even on a game in the same league).

...except the NCAA, which has no backbone.
