I never understand the mindset of people wanting to end their own life.

As someone who has been there, it's less wanting to end your own life and more wanting the pain to stop. You just want a break from whatever is causing you to suffer. Because depression screws with your thinking, whatever logic that is going on in your head leads you to believe that the only way to really get peace is to die. Often you don't WANT to die though, you want a better life but can't see the drive to push forward so you end up in a self-feeding spiral. What tends to result is faking smiles, just barely holding on and if you don't find the strength to push through or if someone else doesn't drag you out of that pit then you eventually just lose resistance and give in.

I've fasted for five days. I had to quit because I almost fainted every time I stood up, and I got short of breath just walking a couple of stairs. You should try it before you make claims like that.

Afaik Japan is one of the most protectionistic countries in the world and won't allow immigration even if they have a shortage of labor. They're really going to struggle when there's not enough people to handle the aging population.

Most people can hold a few weeks without food but think about her situation: Shes not only in poor shape but also shes been eating poorly for years, kinda understable her energy reserves are quite low. Probably the reason that shes not fat is due that you actually need to eat to get fat even if you do nothing

Without drinking and obviously depending on each person you can last around 3-4 days as the rule of the thumb. Been myself due to health issues for 2 days without any liquid and is quite doable even if not enjoyable

Also, the guy's clearly not have a high position in the company like a Director or CEO, but instead he's likely just a supervisor, or the section manager at most, which is still a very expendable position in a company, so I doubt the company would keep his work if he got sued, since he ain't the big shot there.

At this point I think it's easier to just not read it if it provokes you too much. Don't read releases from a well known meme scanlation groups if you can't handle the memes. I doubt the stereotypic immigrant speech is going to be removed either, so if that also provokes you, you might want to find another release really.

Oh, yeah, can she prove it then? Its his word against hers and hes her SUPERIOR which in Japan means a lot. Also no one is gonna step in that cesspool of situation and risk to get in trouble with their superiors. She would have been heavily punished for trying to stain the company's reputation and the ofender would have gotten at worst a slap on the wrist or even praised for weeding out a "problematic" employee. Is either bite the bullet and endure it or leave the company if you cant, not middle grounds and sadly this kind of situation happened often.
