Yeah, he has a whole bunch of skills, or rather ways to use his skills, that would make him wealthy beyond measure if he left the elf village and moved to major cities. However, no amount of money could buy him the affection of a dark elf lady and the friendship of trustworthy people, so he's doing just fine.yea

I guess its how annoying you wanna make your game/novel and how much economy diversity you wanna have. You can either have ranks or levels or higher and lower recovery points. So a small potion does nothing on high level chars or doesnt even work at all. Personally I prefer a complex system. It leads to more imersion, but of course its easier to just have one kind of potion that always heals 50% of your life pool no matter what level and gear. My post also applys to this too. There are games that have different anti poison and anti dicease consumables.I was only talking about curing poisons and diseases, though.
